MacPaw has closed access to its products in Russia and Belarus. Funds from previous sales will go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

MacPaw applications no longer work in Russia and Belarus. This was reported to the DOU editorial board in the company.

The funds that MacPaw received earlier from sales in these countries will go to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Now apps are not available in Russia and Belarus either on the website or in the App Store. Users who purchased MacPaw products earlier will no longer be able to renew their license.

The Buy Now and Free Download buttons in the MacPaw store for users from Russia and Belarus now lead to a post with the company's position on the intrusion.

Prior to that, MacPaw distributed information about the war in Ukraine to Russian and Belarusian users through its products. For example, the company posted in its applications a link to the article "find out the truth about events in Ukraine", dedicated to Russians and Belarusians. The article received 167 thousand views from the territory of the Russian Federation, and 121 thousand — from Belarus. Roskomnadzor recently banned all sources listed in the article, as well as the article itself.

After the Russian invasion, MacPaw made the ClearVPN product free for all users from Ukraine, and also announced a free license for CleanMyMac X for media representatives covering the war in Ukraine.
