"People are afraid of being shelled in warehouses," the head of Rozetka said about the difficulties in the company
The head of Rozetka Vladislav Chechetkin told on Facebook about how the company works now. It turned out that Rozetka is going through difficult times. In particular, due to the fact that it does not have enough employees, because they cannot move and work safely.
"Now the biggest challenge for Rozetka's business is the proximity of military operations to Kiev and a huge shortage of people to process orders. People are afraid of being shelled in warehouses, and many of our employees live in close proximity to the front line and cannot safely get to work," the head of Rozetka said on Facebook.
The company is trying to overcome this problem. For this purpose, bomb shelters are being built near Rozetka warehouses, and the company is also launching new routes to deliver people from safer places.
"The second difficulty is logistics. Roadblocks in cities and on highways slow down traffic very much, so the delivery of goods from suppliers, replenishment of stores or delivery at the pick-up point of logistics operators occurs with a significant delay. We rebuild processes around the clock in order to shorten the path of goods to the consumer and save time," Chechetkin added.
Because of the war, Rozetka lost many stores, and the work of those that remained is also constantly being adjusted. Therefore, before visiting the store, it is better to check whether it is currently working. The company promises to compensate all money for undelivered goods. They also plan to pay off suppliers "if the company still exists."
Chechetkin also noted that the helpukraine Humanitarian Initiative.the center has moved to a new warehouse in Lublin and continues to gain momentum.
