Russia abolished income taxes for IT companies (but this will not help them)

Russia has introduced tax incentives for the IT industry. Today, they passed a law exempting technology companies from paying income taxes until 2024.

Taxpayers in the Russian Federation will be entitled to VAT refund if they are in the process of reorganization or liquidation, but not bankruptcy. The law comes into force from the day of publication, that is, today.

Also, the Ministry of digital development in the Russian Federation proposed to introduce benefits for IT specialists in order to keep them in the country. This is reported by the Russian Forbes. They will be able to get a mortgage in Russia at 5%.

This benefit will be made available to IT specialists who are between 22 and 40 years old and have a profit of 200 thousand rubles a month in cities with a population of one million or 150 thousand in the regions. Russian IT specialists with specialized education will also be able to count on a postponement from military service.

Earlier, we told you how technical specialists are fleeing Russia because of sanctions, which are becoming more and more numerous every day.
