In Ukraine, due to the war, the Office of the Russian Service "Bitrix24"is closed

The Ukrainian office of the popular Russian cloud service Bitrix24 has completely closed or is on the verge of closing due to the war. This is reported by AIN with reference to the information of the CEO of the company's representative office Dmitry Suslov.

It is known that after the outbreak of war, the Ukrainian Bitrix24 issued a statement condemning Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

"A few days before the start of the war, we curtailed all development projects, because we do not see the opportunity to think about the future of Bitrix24 in Ukraine. We have completely stopped interacting with the product development company. We also decided to transfer UAH 1 million to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the company said in a statement.

When asked by the publication whether the Bitrix24 office was closed, Suslov replied that this is almost the case. The reason is war.

"It is impossible to make plans, even the closest ones, now. If something happens, the company will inform you about it," he said.

According to him, the company does not accept payments from customers yet, they can continue to use the product for free.

At the same time, there is no data yet on how secure this is (for example, whether the data of Ukrainian users of these systems is transmitted to servers in the Russian Federation).

Meanwhile, the company's legal entity, according to state registers, is not yet in the process of termination.

As you know, Bitrix24 is a Russian cloud service that offers a set of tools for organizing the work of companies and building relationships with customers. The developer and provider is the Russian company 1C — bitrix.

It works as a SaaS model in the cloud version or is installed in a boxed version on separate servers with the ability to modify it for individual requests.

The company sells CRM systems of the same name for Business Management in Ukraine. According to the GfK survey, Bitrix24 was named CRM No. 1 in 2018 and 2020 in Ukraine. According to preliminary data, in 2020, this service was used in Ukraine by about 100 thousand people from 13 thousand companies.

Earlier, Bitrix24 was listed in the list of software of Russian origin, from which Ukrainian companies are recommended to switch to analogs.
