Luxoft's business in Russia is transferred to unaffiliated firms — all vacancies are removed-explanation of the IT company

One of the largest IT companies in Ukraine, DXC Luxoft (cooperates with more than 4,000 Ukrainian specialists), has announced its position on the long process of leaving the Russian market. Earlier, the company was accused of continuing to work with Russians after announcing its withdrawal, posting new vacancies there.

First of all, the company stated that it is proud of its decision to withdraw from the Russian market as a result of the attack on Ukraine and aggression by the Russian government against this state.

"We are implementing our exit plan with maximum effort, in accordance with local laws and contractual requirements, and in compliance with ethical standards," the IT company explained.

At the same time, they reported that Luxoft's business in Russia is being transferred to unaffiliated companies. The company also assured that Luxoft will not have any legal, operational, financial or any other ties to this business. Once the process is fully completed, they will also presumably have no impact on the future development of these businesses.

In turn, Russian developers who serve international clients have the opportunity to move to other countries. Moreover, if the move is not an acceptable solution for the specialist, his cooperation with Luxoft will be completed.

"Due to the scale of our activities, the process is carried out in stages and may take some time. But we continue to strive to complete it as soon as possible. Vacancies in the Russian location have already been removed from our website. Luxoft adheres to its obligations," the IT company explained.

In conclusion, they added that they have been supporting Ukraine for a long time and will continue to do so in the future. We also called on other companies to adhere to this principle.

Recall that on March 4, 2022, Luxoft DXC Technology Company announced its decision to leave the Russian market due to aggression from the Russian government. The IT company condemns Russia's unjustified aggression and called for an immediate end to the attack on Ukraine.

However, at the end of March, several Luxoft employees contacted DOU with information that the company continues to work with Russians after announcing its withdrawal from the Russian market. In particular, she published remote vacancies for Russians on her official website and on LinkedIn.
