The famous IT cluster of Transcarpathia announced the start of registration of residents. What conditions

The newly created it cluster of Transcarpathia has opened registration of residents. Members of the organization can become members of the IT community who are already in the Transcarpathian region permanently or temporarily, or plan to move soon, the press service of this association reports.

Who can join

In particular, any IT companies and specialists can be residents of the cluster, including:

companies with employees in the state;fops that have contracts with Ukrainian companies — both residents of Diya City and non-residents;fops that have contracts with foreign companies;freelancers.

"According to the latest data, about 35 thousand IT specialists are already in Transcarpathia. We strive to create all the necessary conditions for comfortable and fruitful work of representatives of the IT community through the development of a powerful business community, it education, infrastructure and ecosystem. In the future, we see the Transcarpathian region as one of the innovative and technological centers of Ukraine and the world," said Zhanna Kapitsa, chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Transcarpathian IT cluster.

According to her, the organization already cooperates with IT clusters and associations to support their residents who are already in Transcarpathia or are planning to move. In particular, now the Transcarpathian Association of IT specialists has agreements on exclusive partnership with the Lviv and Kharkiv IT clusters.

What benefits are promised to residents

It is known that the Transcarpathian IT cluster was created on April 5, 2022. The cluster's supervisory board includes representatives of Astound Commerce, SoftServe, Sigma Software, Genesis, 4TEAM, Telesens, Eram, Intellias, SQUAD, Parimatch Tech, CANFLY and other companies.

According to the association, residents of the Transcarpathian it Cluster will receive assistance and support in the following areas::

interaction with ОВА and central authorities on the issue of booking (temporary exemption from mobilization);housing issues;assistance in managing talents and education in the IT sphere;building and developing an ecosystem;security and development of the IT community;investment and innovation;logistics, etc.

The IT cluster noted that now the working groups of the Supervisory Board determine the details and work plan for each of the areas.

At the same time, the organization assures that all information obtained through registration forms remains strictly confidential and will not be transferred to third parties without the explicit and exclusive consent of the resident candidate.

In addition, neither tax nor physical residency is a prerequisite for participation in the cluster.

At the same time, the Transcarpathian IT cluster, as well as other Ukrainian IT clusters, will have registration and annual membership fees. The amount of the annual fee will depend on the size of the resident company.

Earlier it was reported that a national IT cluster is being created in Transcarpathia. Moreover, to protect the Ukrainian economy, all IT specialists in this region are released from military service during martial law.

Subsequently, it became known that the specialists of IT companies of Kharkiv region who are liable for military service want to be released from mobilization into the army. The authorities are also considering the possibility of retaining specialists at the places of registration, said the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Sinegubov.
