Intellias has opened a development center in Uzhgorod. What are the company's plans to integrate into the event?

Intellias, one of the largest Ukrainian IT companies, opens a development center in Transcarpathia. In particular, a new office has already been set up in the center of Uzhgorod. It is designed for 40 jobs, the company said.

Details of opening a new location

As explained in the IT company, it is in Uzhgorod that about 40 of their colleagues are now located. And most of them were evacuated from other regions.

"The opening of a new office is an opportunity to provide our specialists and specialists with a comfortable and safe place to work. And, in addition, in the future, we plan to create working conditions for other internally displaced persons here. We also believe that the IT industry in Transcarpathia will actively develop, so we want to become one of the drivers of this process," said Vitaly Sedler, CEO and co — founder of Intellias.

According to the company, the process of launching an office in Uzhgorod actually took place remotely. At the same time, the local infrastructure has accelerated its development to meet the demand of the IT industry for a new hub in Transcarpathia.

"We have found a wonderful room in the city center and plan to organize this space in accordance with the principles of smart comfort, which we adhere to in the company," said Nikolay Muzala, Administrative Director of the company.
On integration to the West

It is known that together with the launch of a new office in Uzhgorod, the offices of this company continue to operate in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk. Regarding recruitment plans in Ukraine, half of the available vacancies in Intellias (more than 240 positions) are planned to hire Ukrainian engineers.

In total, since the beginning of hostilities, more than 1,300 IT specialists and their families have been evacuated to the western regions of Ukraine. More than 390 people were also evacuated to Krakow to their own development center — these are Intellias specialists, as well as family members of colleagues.

"In order not to endanger the company's specialists and specialists, the work of offices in Kiev, Kharkiv and Odessa has been temporarily suspended for the period of military operations," the outsourcer stated.

At the same time, the company is implementing a strategy to expand its global presence. In particular, they are preparing to open offices in Bulgaria and Croatia. At the same time, the company is exploring more remote markets where Intellias can potentially launch additional development centers, with priority locations in Western Europe, Latin America and Asia.

About supporting the army

Now the IT company continues to work and provides jobs for more than 2,500 specialists. The Intellias team also raised more than UAH 8 million for the needs of the Ukrainian military.

Now the company continues the project "Auto for defenders", in which it signed a partnership with Winner Group Ukraine and purchased 30 SUVs for the Ukrainian military.

In addition, the company is actively developing volunteer movements: specialists and specialists have joined the development of a logistics system for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, unite to fight the enemy on different fronts, and also organize support for war victims.

Earlier, Ukrainian Intellias announced the opening of new locations in three Polish cities at once: Warsaw, Wroclaw and Gdansk. The opening of these offices is scheduled for April-May 2022.
