The Ministry of digital development has signed a declaration on the future of the internet with leading countries of the world. What does this mean

Ukraine will cooperate with the world's leading countries in the development of a safe space on the internet. The corresponding declaration from the Ukrainian side was signed by the Ministry of digital transformation, the press service of the Cabinet of ministers reports.

In particular, the government said that on April 28, together with the United States, the European Commission, Great Britain, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Japan, Ukraine confirmed its intention to develop a safe space on the internet for all.

"The Ministry of digital development has signed a declaration on the future of the internet," the report says.
What does this mean

According to the Cabinet of Ministers, cooperation with leading countries will help Ukraine counteract:

spreading disinformation and false information;malicious cyber activity;restricting access to the internet;illegal surveillance, and so on.

Thanks to this, the government added, Ukraine, together with developed countries, will be able to resist Russian propaganda on the internet and defeat the enemy in the information war.

Earlier, the American corporation Microsoft reported that Russia's cyber attacks against Ukraine occur synchronously with military operations.
