Ciklum has opened a development center in Bulgaria. By the end of the year, it plans to hire several hundred specialists

Ciklum, an IT company based in Ukraine, has opened a new delivery hub in Bulgaria. The development center in Sofia is expanding the company's presence in Eastern Europe and is designed to speed up the hiring of IT specialists, the outsourcer said.

Office opening details

The new office already employs more than a hundred specialists. The company has ambitious plans to cooperate with local specialists. It will also offer jobs to Ukrainians who were forced to temporarily leave their homes and move to safe locations.

Ciklum expects that their expertise in working with cross-cultural teams, including Eastern European ones, will help to quickly and efficiently establish organizational and delivery processes in a new location.

The company expects that by the end of 2022 it will be able to provide an opportunity for several hundred IT specialists to realize their potential and join the global team. Now there are also vacancies on DOU, where the location Bulgaria is indicated.

"We are convinced that Eastern Europe, and Bulgaria in particular, has an extraordinary potential for success in developing digital products. ... We create maximum opportunities for local talents to participate in international projects," said Alexander Bovdich VP, Strategy and Operations at Ciklum.

As you know, the management office of the IT company, founded in Kiev in 2002, is now located in the UK. In total, it brings together more than 4,000 developers, designers, product managers, and data science professionals around the world. In Ukraine, the company cooperates with more than 3,000 specialists.

Recall that in 2021, Ciklum closed a takeover deal for CN Group, A Czech software developer.
