Ajax Systems opens a factory in Turkey. This is the first plant of a Ukrainian company abroad

Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of professional security systems Ajax Systems opens its first factory abroad — in Istanbul (Turkey). This was announced on May 12, 2022 in the company.

It is assumed that the new plant with an area of 8300 M2 will produce the entire line of Ajax devices, duplicating the existing production in Ukraine.

Now the company has already started forming a local production team and at the first stage is ready to hire at least 400 people. The production plans are to produce at least 150 thousand devices per month.

Why now

The company explained that the launch of new production facilities abroad was planned long before the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine, and is a logical continuation of scaling production.

"The opening of a new plant in Istanbul is a strategic step aimed at diversifying production facilities planned by the company. We chose Turkey based on a combination of factors: availability of professionals in the field of production, infrastructure, conditions of the Free Economic Zone, the level of taxes, the quality of contractors, proximity to our main markets," said Alexander Konotopsky, CEO of Ajax Systems.

At the same time, he expects that the new production will strengthen the development of their products and accelerate access to new markets.

Now the company has opened the first vacancy in production in Turkey — General Manager, Manufacturing Plant Operations.

On the impact of war on the company's operations

It is known that Ajax Systems has fully restored the existing production and development of products in Ukraine, actively hires specialists at the plant and expands the R&D team. These production facilities will continue to remain in Ukraine, the company assured.

They also added that they have their own logistics hub in Poland and develop local teams in the strategic markets of Spain, Italy, Great Britain, Germany, France, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa and other countries.

Recall that in the first days of a full-scale war, Ajax Systems, together with Stfalcon, with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, created the "Air Alert"application. It informs you about the start and end of an alarm in the area that the user selects, and works even in silent or sleep mode of the smartphone.

Recently, the team of the popular Air alarm mobile app during the war released important updates to the app, as well as new solutions for monitoring alarms across the country.
