Ukrainians will be provided with 700 scholarships to study at IT courses at Prometheus

Prometheus educational platform launches IT courses in partnership with IT companies GlobalLogic, Ciklum and SoftServe. 700 applicants will have the opportunity to join educational programs for free thanks to scholarships. The project is being implemented with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and WNISEF.

In short, the best graduates will be able to pass interviews and continue cooperation with companies.The courses were taught by experienced specialists from GlobalLogic, Ciklum and SoftServe. The training programs were developed jointly with employers.Each student of the program will also have access to the mini-courses "English for beginners in it" and "how to find your first job in it". There are already 4 programs available on Prometheus:

📚 Front-end. Complete course for beginners from Ciklum. The 13-week course will teach front-end development step-by-step, from layout to creating web applications, for a confident start to your career in it. During the training, students will complete practical tasks, as well as a course project that can be added to the portfolio.

Q Qa Manual by GlobalLogic. The course provides in-depth knowledge and practical skills sufficient to get a job as a web product testing specialist. It is ideal for a quick start in IT. Manual QA specialist does not need to speak programming languages and deep technical knowledge, so it will take only 12 weeks to get the first job from the beginning of training.

Автоматичне automatic software testing from GlobalLogic. The materials were prepared by a lecturer with 11 years of experience. Graduates of the course will receive sufficient knowledge to get their first job in the specialty. If you diligently complete the course and complete all the tasks, students will be able to apply for their first job in 11 weeks.

Розробка development of web applications in Ruby from SoftServe. The course will help you master programming based on one of the most promising technologies to start in the IT industry. During 12 weeks of training, students will gain solid knowledge and practical skills that will help build a career as a Ruby Software developer.

First of all, they can apply for free training:

Ukrainian women who suffered from the war; Ukrainians and Ukrainian women who left the temporarily occupied territories and were registered there as of 24.02.2022;Ukrainians and Ukrainian women who received the status of an internally displaced person or the right of temporary protection abroad after 24.02.2022;military personnel who participate in the Russian-Ukrainian war or were participants in the ATO/OOS/Russian-Ukrainian war, as well as their family members (parents, wife/husband, children).

Those who have suffered from the war, but are not included in these categories, can also apply: such students will be enrolled if there are available seats.

To apply for the scholarship program, you need to complete the first academic week of the course you are interested in, as well as fill out the application form at the link until November 4 inclusive. Applicants who receive the scholarship will be notified by email to the email address specified during registration until November 9 inclusive.
