"Attention! Go to the nearest shelter." Photo review of IT company vaults where IT specialists wait out air alarms

For more than eight months, Russians have been launching missiles and combat drones at Ukrainian cities and villages. To protect themselves during air alarms, people are asked to take shelter. We have compiled a photo review of places where IT specialists are located during threats.

In this issue — about shelters that have been equipped by Ukrainian IT companies. They mostly have lights, Wi-Fi, places to work, food and water supplies, and more. Someone has equipped basements, someone — underground parking lots, someone-real bomb shelters.

Abto Software
Before the war, they made a gym in the basement, but now there is a shelter here. It has Internet, light, water supply and a minimum supply of food.

Brainstack_
In the Kiev office, we rented basements with evacuation access to the street. They serve as a shelter for workers in the event of an air alert. There are supplies of food, water, medicines, and internet access.

In the Ivano-Frankivsk Office of the company there is a minus the first floor, equipped as a coworking space. It serves as a safe shelter and is equipped with charging stations, generators, provisions, sleeping bags and medicines.

We have set up shelters in offices in Dnipro, Lviv, and Vinnytsia. In Kiev, we will modernize it, and it will start working in the near future. We use the premises of business centers, and each has the opportunity to work in the heat and with fast internet.

The company has two shelters near its office in Vinnytsia. The first is a real bomb shelter. The second shelter is located in the basement of the building. It has internet access and, by coincidence, is home to the Blaster tag entertainment center. Therefore, with prolonged air alarms, employees can not only work, but also get a little distracted.

In our bomb shelter in the Lviv office there are bathrooms, Wi-Fi, sockets for recharging devices, water supply is provided, heating devices (UFO) are placed, there is a supply of food and drinking water. On the walls of the shelter are murals — they were painted by eleksovtsy in the first weeks of a full-scale war during alarms and in their spare time. The area of the bomb shelter is quite large, and we share part of it with the "school of the free and not indifferent".
ELITEX
The building of the Lviv Office of the company is equipped with a bomb shelter, which will soon also open the institution "Katana". During an air alert, our team has the opportunity not only to continue working in a comfortable atmosphere, but also not to experience stress from a gloomy basement.
EPAM
Most of the company's offices have bomb shelters located very close to or just below the office space. In particular, the office in Lviv has a huge basement, where there is a fast food restaurant, which also serves as a bomb shelter. In the event of an air alarm, all colleagues who worked in the office go down there and can continue working.

In other offices of the company, bomb shelters are located in underground parking lots and provide basic conditions to wait out the time of an air alarm.

The shelter in our Lviv office is spacious, comfortable, there is a stable internet connection, the floor is insulated.

GlobalLogic
In our office in Lviv there is a shelter with communication, Wi-Fi, light, heat, the ability to prepare hot drinks. In case of a power outage, the office has diesel generators.
Intellias
In the Lviv Office of Intellias, a convenient bomb shelter was equipped in the spring. There is electricity and Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, tables and heaters. During air alarms, Our specialists and specialists have the opportunity to work from there, and we also conduct various cultural and educational events in the bomb shelter.

The company's Kiev office is located in the business center, where we have an equipped shelter. If necessary, the office itself can work in the "shelter" mode, where you can warm up, recharge your gadgets and spend the night for several days — with coffee, hot food and the internet.

The company's office in Kiev has a basement, where there is a spacious kitchen-dining room, a hall for training or other activities and a dressing room. It is the basement that we use as a shelter — we go down here during air alarms. We have Starlink and a generator, so we continue to work even during rolling power outages.

Our gym on the minus ground floor of an office building was converted into a shelter during wartime. Now this space is fully ready for a long stay, work and even overnight stay.

Poufs, karemats, pillows and blankets, food and water supplies, personal protective equipment, diesel generator. The gym also works for its intended purpose — no one canceled the sport.

The shelter is located on the ground floor of the office, where there is a kitchen with water supplies, a play area, two meeting rooms. It was in the shelter that our employees were located during missile arrivals at the officers ' House in Vinnytsia. Our office is located nearby.

In the Dnipro office, a shelter in the parking lot was set up. It is equipped with light, communication and reliable internet, and also has a water supply. At the same time, during an air alert in the parking lot, events are held that were supposed to take place in the office. Thus, the shelter has already hosted trainings on pre-medical care, meditation and even technical events.

Our company has set up a bomb shelter for employees in the underground parking lot of the gallery Athena shopping center in Odessa. There is a supply of drinking water, Wi-Fi, workplaces and recreation areas.
