CHI Software opens representative office in Japan
CHI Software, a software development company with a focus on artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, the Internet of things and Web Solutions, has opened an office in Kobe, Japan.
Now Ukrainian specialists work remotely, but later, when the opportunity arises, they plan to involve them in working offline there.
"Japan is a high-tech country. And the region in which we have a representative office is the second in Japan in terms of economic indicators. There are well-developed R&D centers, a well-developed medical domain that coincides with our expertise and services. In addition, there is state support for IT companies and startups," says Elena Morozova, head of the project management department at CHI Software.
Chi Software has had contracts with Japanese businesses since 2019 and has already implemented 30 projects for this market. The focus is on ML projects, AI, and Computer vision.
The company notes that starting cooperation with Japan in the field of software development is "easier than it may seem." And the IT Ukraine Association and the embassy of Ukraine in Japan helped them open an office in Kobe.
Kobe mayor Kizo Hisamoto noted that there is a shortage of IT specialists and companies in Japan. However, the authorities know that all this is available in Ukraine and expect that specialists will provide high-quality products and services.
