Provectus company opens offices in Armenia and Colombia: IT specialists are offered relocation

Provectus IT company opened new representative offices in Armenia and Colombia in the summer. There is no limit on the number of specialists they plan to hire, the company told DOU.

What is known about the Provectus office in Armenia? In June, the company opened a representative office in Yerevan. Now these are rented places in a coworking space for more than 20 specialists, but within a month they plan to launch their own office here and are already looking for premises.

"Yerevan is the most technologically advanced city in Armenia with a large pool of IT specialists. The company collaborated with several Armenian specialists remotely-one of them became the leader of this location. Therefore, we knew a little about the Armenian market and the specialists there. But we actively took the direction of development only in June," the company told DOU.

What is known about the Provectus office in Colombia? The representative office was opened in Madeline in July. This is a completely new location for the company, but it is considered promising due to the "boom" in IT development and the convenience of cooperation with clients from the United States and Canada.

"The city is considered the" Silicon Valley " of Latin America. Previously, it was known for its drug trafficking (it was there that the events of the TV series "narco" took place), so for the last 5-7 years, local authorities have been doing everything possible to deprive the place of such a reputation. And the most important direction of Medelin's development is the IT sector. That's why we chose it," Provectus explained.

Who does Provectus hire? The company is growing, so there is no limit on the number of specialists. Currently, they are looking for Data Engineers, DevOps, ML Engineers, and front-end Developers. New specialists are promised to help with registration at the location, offer classic benefits, such as insurance, training compensation, and so on. The company is also open to relocating IT specialists to Armenia and Colombia.
