Poland handed over 5 thousand Starlink terminals to Ukraine: where they will be sent

Minister of digital transformation Mikhail Fedorov said at a briefing on August 22 that Poland has purchased 5 thousand Starlink terminals for Ukraine.

The Polish side took over the purchase of terminals for Ukraine, as well as their support. According to Fedorov, "this is a lot of money" that Ukraine managed to save.

The resulting Starlink is currently distributed. They will be used to ensure uninterrupted communication in frontline zones and the operation of critical infrastructure: hospitals, social institutions, the military industry, etc.

Now Ukraine has about 20 thousand terminals. According to Fedorov, none of the EU countries has such a large number. However, the minister calls the question of how much more Starlink Ukraine needs sensitive. Disclosure of such information can benefit the enemy.
