The Office of a resident of the Transcarpathian IT cluster was searched-Simcord commented on the incident (UPD)

The Office of one of the residents of the Transcarpathian IT cluster was searched. The organization said that it was illegal, "without any official documents."

"The other day, an unfortunate incident occurred in the Office of one of our residents in Mukachevo — an illegal "search" without any official documents. We are cooperating with representatives of the company and the Transcarpathian ERA, and we expect a joint meeting this week," the cluster noted.

In a comment to DOU, the cluster did not specify the specific date of the search or its duration. They only noted that" this is all available public information " that they can share.

The AIN publication wrote that the search was allegedly carried out in the company Simcord, which moved from Kharkiv to Mukachevo after the start of a full-scale invasion. The DOU cluster neither confirmed nor denied this data.

Simcord DOU confirmed the fact of the search. They said that the incident occurred on August 25. So, according to Simcord, about 15 unidentified persons in masks and with firearms in their hands cynically broke into the office in Mukachevo." These individuals, the company says, were wearing clothing similar to the uniform of police officers (RPOP), "who introduced themselves as the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Transcarpathian region, headed by the head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the GUNP in the Transcarpathian region (operative) — kryl Igor Bogdanovich."

All this was accompanied by shouting and swearing, with the use of psychological and physical influence and pressure, DOU emphasized in the commentary.

"All employees were dragged out of their jobs, their personal phones were taken away and their faces were shushed against the wall, without any explanation of their rights, restricting their freedom and prohibiting their free movement, not to mention other violations of their rights and freedoms as citizens of Ukraine. Thus, the company's work was completely paralyzed and blocked, which caused significant losses," Simcord says.

The company also clarified that the people who conducted the search did not have a court decision or any other documents that would provide grounds for holding such events.

"No one reported on the reasons and grounds for the so — called visit, such persons only moved independently around the office space, examined the workplaces of employees, tables, chairs, curbstones and cabinets, as well as documents and computer equipment," the company added.

In addition, they noted that people in uniform did not record their actions on camera, there were no witnesses.

Simcord employees called the hotline of the state Bureau of Investigation about this. Now, they say, the corresponding check continues.

Simcord is a company that was based in Kharkiv before the large-scale war and focused on several technological areas: Big Data, JS web applications, automated reporting systems to regulators, and so on. Today, Simcord is a resident of Action City.
