The decree on allowing men to go on business trips abroad did not work. There are still discussions in the government

The decree on the service of the portal "Diya" "eporyadzhennya", which should allow men liable for military service to travel abroad on business trips on bail, did not work on September 1, because it was not signed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal. This was announced by the minister of digital transformation Mikhail Fedorov during a briefing on August 31.

According to Fedorov, the government is still discussing the resolution, so the date of its adoption is still unknown.

"We announced that a decision was made at the Cabinet of ministers, but the resolution has not yet been signed. There is still a discussion in the government regarding this resolution, its revision, publication, and so on. Now I can't say whether it will be signed, when and in what format," the minister said at a briefing.

The decision to postpone the adoption of the resolution was supported, in particular, by the chairman of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy Daniil Hetmantsev.

"The initiators of the mechanism for those liable for military service to travel abroad proposed a solution intuitively, without proper calculations, which clearly could not convince the public of its expediency," he wrote on his Facebook page.

Recall that on August 19, Fedorov, following a government meeting, said that the Cabinet of ministers adopted a resolution that allows implementing this service in an experimental format.

It was reported that individuals-entrepreneurs and legal entities-will be able to use the service by making a deposit of 200 thousand hryvnias. They wanted to allow you to go on a working trip abroad for up to 7 days. Get permission to leave at the same time — no more than 10% of the number of insured specialists, but no more than 10 people from the company at the same time.

The terms of the decree caused heated discussions in society, in particular, they were discussed by DOU readers.
