The Ukrainian became the new CEO of the international company Avenga
Avenga, a global engineering and consulting platform, has announced the appointment of Yuri Adamchuk as the new CEO. Prior to that, he worked as a COO at the Avenga Group. DOU's changes were announced by the company on September 5.
The previous CEO and founder of Avenga Group, Jan Webering, said that since its formation, in 2019, "the company has already become a world-famous brand with value-oriented DNA."
"Now is the right time to ensure a consistent transfer of control. We were very lucky that we didn't have to look for the right leader for a long time. Over the past few years, I have worked closely with Yuri to build on the success of Avenga, and I am confident that he will take the company to new heights," said Jan Webering.
Jan Webering will remain with Avenga as a shareholder and chairman of the advisory committee.
Yuri Adamchuk worked at Avenga and its predecessor, Core Value, for seven years. In 2019, he received a CDO position at Avenga Group, and in 2020-COO. Prior to that, he held senior positions in many companies, including KM Core, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and KPMG.
In the new position, Yuriy Adamchuk will work to " implement the long-term strategy of turning the company into a leader in digital transformation, offering high-quality solutions for customers and the best working conditions for employees."
Avenga is an international group of technology partner companies providing comprehensive digital transformation services, including technology implementation, integration and development, as well as strategy and Consulting, in particular in the medical, financial, insurance and automotive markets. Avenga's customers include ABB, Allianz, GSK, Santander and Volvo.
The company employs 3,500 specialists. IT specialists work in 27 offices around the world, including in Ukraine.
Further expansion of the company is supported by investments managed by Oaktree Capital Management and Cornerstone Investment Management.
