So far, Google is not closing its office in Russia, but the company has already begun to remove its employees from there. This is reported by Bloomberg, citing its own sources. It is noted that Google had 244 employees in its Moscow office and the company has been helping them move to other countries in recent weeks.

Earlier, Google stopped the advertising business and restricted the operation of Google Play in the Russian Federation. In addition, the company blocked all monetization functions for Russian users on YouTube, although the service itself still works in the country. The main free Google services, such as the search engine and maps, also work in the same way.

Instagram Facebook and Instagram services were banned from being used in Russia.
