The Cabinet of ministers allowed to extend for two months the current deferrals from conscription for those liable for military service during mobilization and during wartime. The relevant decision was approved by the government on September 7.

The Ministry of economy initiated the extension of deferrals from mobilization. For the first time, the decision was made in March-April, respectively, for a number of those liable for military service, the postponement expires in September-October of this year.

"This month and next, the terms of postponements granted to thousands of specialists after the start of a large-scale aggression are simultaneously expiring. This can pose a threat to the stable operation of the public and economic sectors. The government's decision makes it possible to ensure the stable and effective work of state authorities, local self — government bodies, enterprises and organizations that are currently working to win in the rear," Economy Minister Yulia Sviridenko said.

The Ministry of economy can make a decision to extend the postponement for up to two months only once.
