Ukraine'S ELEKS opens new office in Poland and plans to expand in Croatia

One of the largest Ukrainian IT companies ELEKS opens a new office in Krakow, Poland. Recently, the team in Poland was expanded to more than 250 specialists who now work at the development center in Krakow, and another 25 experts in other cities. It is also planned to open two new offices in Croatia, the company said.

"The new ELEKS office in Krakow will strengthen the company's presence in the region and strengthen partnerships with new and existing customers in the European market," the release says.

The company, which already had a development office in another city of Rzeszow, plans to further significantly develop the team in Poland in order to continue providing software development and consulting services.

Why are they expanding in Poland

According to the company, the powerful technology sector in Poland many years ago interested ELEKS to start a business in the country. Poland ranks 14th among the top 20 tech countries in the Tholons Globalization Index.

According to Stack Overflow, the technical talent pool in the country has more than 250 thousand software developers. In addition, Poland complies with data protection legislation that meets the high security standards of the European Union.

In addition, according to the IT company, ELEKS will increase its business presence in Croatia in the spring of 2022. In particular, it is expected to open new offices in the cities of Split and Zagreb.

Earlier, another major Ukrainian IT company Intellias announced the opening of new locations in three Polish cities at once: Warsaw, Wroclaw and Gdansk. In particular, the opening of these offices is scheduled for April-May 2022.
