Project details
"We want to cover as much as possible all the cities that have suffered the greatest destruction, which certainly need to be recorded. This information will be posted on Google Maps and will be available to the general public. The whole world should see what our cities looked like before and what the aggressor did to them," said Deputy Interior Minister Igor Bondarenko.

It is also planned that the new project will be publicly available for people who want to have objective data about the area and their real estate.

According to the Ministry of internal affairs, a separate service will be created for law enforcement officers and rescuers. They will be able to use it as an information and reference resource to coordinate their actions and additionally record the state of affairs in the region.

It is assumed that the first results of the start of well — coordinated work can be evaluated from next week (April 11-17, 2022-Ed.). It is then that Google experts promise to publish the first panoramic images of destroyed streets and buildings in the city of Irpen.
