Acer suspends its business in Russia due to the war in Ukraine

Taiwanese computer equipment and electronics company Acer Inc. announced the suspension of its business in Russia due to the war in Ukraine. This is stated in the company's consolidated revenue report for March 2022.

In particular, Acer stressed that it strictly adheres to the current laws and rules of international trade, and also closely monitors "the conflict between Russia and Ukraine."

"Due to recent events, Acer has decided to suspend its business in Russia. ... Acer hopes that peace will be restored as soon as possible," the statement said.

Now the company focuses on the safety of all its employees, which includes constant efforts to help everyone and their families affected by the current situation (the war in Ukraine — Ed.).

"Acer thinks about the affected people and works with several international agencies and non — governmental organizations to provide humanitarian support," the tech company concluded.
