About new locations in UkraineThe company said that out of seven of their representative offices that worked before the war, only offices in Lviv, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Odessa and Uzhgorod are currently functioning. At the same time, many specialists moved to the western regions of Ukraine.
"Several offices have already been opened or will open in the near future — in Mukachevo, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil. That is, where there are already many specialists of the company. This week, the official opening of offices took place in Lutsk and Chernivtsi," the company told us.
The Lutsk office is designed for 30 people. It has rooms for individual work, meeting rooms and small rooms for online communication. The company plans to expand its local team, cooperate with Lutsk universities and organize events for technical communities.
In turn, in Chernivtsi, a new office space was equipped in the historical center of the city. Now the office has 18 workplaces, a meeting room and a small Sigma Club.
Sigma Software added that it also rented several recreation centers in Morshyn (270 seats) and Truskavets (150 seats) for a long time, setting up co-working spaces there for comfortable work with full administrative and technical support. So now these coworking spaces function as temporary offices.
Moreover, to ensure stable internet as a backup in offices, the company installed Starlink devices through the Ministry of Digital Development Program. At the same time, the main channel is still terrestrial.
About the specifics of employee relocationAs reported in the IT company, for the period of evacuation to the Lviv office, they bought sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, Chargers, towels, socks and Mats. They also constantly buy fruit, fast food, and employees prepare hot dishes and treat those who come.
In addition, the company helps with the search for temporary housing for everyone who needs it. The company's specialists can also work remotely.
"It was possible to stay in the office at will, but we tried to keep the office as much as possible as a workspace, making sure that all our experts had a roof over their heads," the service and product company stressed.
Sigma Software noted that they are trying to rent a room with a basic renovation in order to be able to quickly prepare them for work. The main focus is done in the workplace, abandoning the usual "buns" (tennis and game tables, large meeting rooms, etc.).
"As before the war, we abandon open spaces and prefer the cabinet system. Coffee machines, small rally rooms, and recreation areas are also responsible for the comfort of specialists. Our offices and coworking spaces have become loyal to the presence of pets in them," the IT company noted.About expansion in Europe
The company said that it is now trying to actively expand in Europe. In particular, its office is growing in Warsaw (opened in 2014) and Portugal (opened in early 2022).
Local teams and remote specialists also work from Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Spain, Germany and other countries. Moreover, the company is looking for opportunities for those who want to work from office spaces.
"Office locations in Europe, first of all, should be comfortable and convenient for the work of our specialists, meet all the conditions for organizing high — quality and efficient work — have high-speed internet, a convenient location, cozy and neat premises," Sigma Software believes.
