N-iX company opens development office in Ivano-Frankivsk

Ukrainian IT company N-iX, which unites more than 1,800 specialists in Ukraine and abroad, opens a new development office. In the summer, a representative office in Ivano-Frankivsk will be added to the existing two locations in Lviv and one in Kiev, the company said.

"Before the war, we planned to open four new offices in Ukraine, including in Ivano-Frankivsk, because for several years we have been cooperating with specialists who work remotely from different parts of our country. So, the team in Ivano-Frankivsk has 25 specialists," said Pavel Deshchinsky, COO at N — iX.

Now the IT company has already signed a lease agreement for office space in Ivano-Frankivsk, designed for 40 jobs. But the doors of the new office are planned to open only in a few months.

Now, as specified in the company, they are engaged in interior design "from scratch". At the same time, the specialists themselves joined the creation of the future space — using the methodology of design thinking, they developed a prototype of the desired office.

"The office is located next to the center and has a large roof terrace, which we plan to use for work, events and informal meetings of teams. The terrace will have two areas — closed, with a kitchen and a bar, and open, with poufs and a place to relax. The main work area is located on the floor below — colleagues will have both their own desks and areas for joint work," said Mariana Makovetskaya, administrative director at N — iX.

As you know, N-iX is one of the largest IT companies in Ukraine, founded in 2002. Now it unites more than 1,800 specialists.

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, N-iX has collected more than UAH 24 million, which was used to purchase vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Starlink stations for different cities of Ukraine, assistance to aerial reconnaissance, the Come Back Alive Foundation and others.

Recall that in early February, it was reported that the IT company N-iX plans to open four new offices in 2022. In particular, in Dnipro, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv and Vinnytsia. These cities already have developers who collaborate with outsourcers remotely.

The first of the four offices was supposed to open in the spring — in Dnipro. They have already decided on the location. Thus, by the end of the year, the company expected to have a total of 7 offices in Ukraine.
