Yalantis opens office in Lviv and hires specialists: who they are looking for

Ukrainian IT company Yalantis, which unites more than 500 specialists, has opened a new office in Lviv. DOU also learned that since the beginning of the war, Yalantis has signed five new contracts with customers, and therefore actively hires specialists in the middle and Senior grade positions.

Before the war, Yalantis had three physical representative offices: an office in Dnipro, Kiev and in Larnaca, Cyprus, which it opened in December 2021. The new office in Lviv, according to COO Denis Rudenko, was planned to open in early 2022, because many specialists from this city were already in the team. However, due to the large-scale invasion of Russia, plans had to be shifted in time.

At first, instead of a full-fledged office, the company rented a three-story house: specialists who moved to Lviv from other regions worked and lived there. And now the team has the opportunity to function in the New Development Center.

"Before the war, we actively hired and had a lot of specialists from Lviv in our team. Now, of course, there are even more people. Quantitative growth is not as active as last year (the company grew by 60% in 2021), but we are not losing people and are preparing for new growth. We plan to cover all locations where the IT industry is developed and there is a market," said Denis Rudenko, COO of Yalantis.

According to Serhiy Fesenko, co — founder and CFO of the company, the Lviv office is one of the steps of the company's planned expansion to the West.

"In addition, it allows those who have moved to a safer place from the east of Ukraine to work comfortably. It can also be a hub for clients who can come to meet us. The office also allows Yalantis to integrate into the strong Lviv IT community and participate even more actively in the development of the IT industry," explains Fesenko.

The office area is 300 m2. It is designed for 30 specialists. The interior is still being filled with furniture, decor and plants, but the doors are already open for specialists. The office also has a kitchen, meeting rooms for both individual specialists and team meetings, 4 balconies and a terrace with views of the park area. Subsequently, they promise to place a recreation area on the terrace. Near the office there is free parking for cars. In addition, the House has a shelter.

Since the beginning of the war, the company has signed five new contracts with customers, and therefore actively hires specialists in the middle and Senior grade positions: Mobile Developer (Flutter), SDR team Lead, Ruby Developer, DevOps Engineer, Java Developer, Node.js Developer. You can work remotely or in Lviv.

The company plans to increase its local team, cooperate with Lviv universities and organize events for IT communities.
