Anastasia Kukhar has become the new CEO of Petcube. Yaroslav Azhnyuk moved to the post of President of the company
Petcube co-founder Yaroslav Azhnyuk is leaving the position of CEO and moving to the position of President of the company. Anastasia Kukhar became the new CEO. Azhnyuk announced this on his Facebook page.
"I was planning to pass the baton for the last three years or something, and now the time has come. Nastya has been de facto in her new position for a month now. This is a big change for the company and I'm sure it will benefit us. Nastya has a fantastic decision — making ability, a relentless flow of energy, managerial and analytical skills and a healthy level of ambition — everything you need to move your business forward," Azhnyuk wrote.
In his new role as president and chairman of the Board of Directors, Yaroslav Azhnyuk plans to remain involved in the business and focus on several areas that are most important for the company's long-term strategy, as well as help the new CEO in her new position.
"Over the years, I've had a lot of ideas, including about education, media, and heavy industry, but the Russian invasion has changed our reality. Now I am thinking about where I could bring the greatest benefit to Ukraine in order to bring our victory in this war closer. However, this is a separate big topic. First, I have to take a little time to recharge and pay off some debts to myself," Azhnyuk shared his plans.
Recall that the president awarded Yaroslav Azhnyuk with a state award on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine. He received the order of merit, III degree.
The CEO of Petcube noted that he accepts this award, but in general, the order belongs not to him personally, but to the teams Spend with Ukraine (a platform that aims to introduce the event to Ukrainian brands and improve their sales), O0 design studio and Petcube.
Petcube is a Ukrainian hardware startup founded in 2012. Their main product is a smart device that allows the owner to monitor, play and even feed their pet from a distance.
