Ukrainian startup AirSlate became a unicorn with a valuation of 1 1.25 billion (UPD)

Startup AirSlate, which creates a service for automating work processes, has attracted a new round of investment with a valuation of 1 1.25 billion. So the company officially became a unicorn. AirSlate plans to increase its staff by 40% this year.

On June 17, airSlate completed a фінансування 51.5 million funding round. Investors: the American G Squared fund and the newly created UiPath Ventures Investment Fund. Airslate was founded by Vadim Yasinovsky, an IT entrepreneur from Ukraine, in 2008. Initially, the startup worked only with PDF documents and was called PDF Filler.

AIRSLATE DOU said that this year the company plans to increase the team by another 40% to support business growth. Recruitment will mainly focus on R&D areas, as well as hiring in marketing and sales to develop new channels of entry to the market.

The company will hire in all five hubs located on three continents. In particular, hiring will take place in Ukraine and Poland, where airSlate recently opened an office in Wroclaw.
