DataArt has completely left Russia. The legal entity was transferred to the Russian company ITentika
DataArt IT company has signed an official contract with Itentika (Russian software developer), according to which it takes DataArt legal entities, office space rental contracts, contacts of several former clients in Russia and a certain number of ex-colleagues who decided to stay in Russia. DataArt announced this in a comment to DOU.
"We want to emphasize that this agreement is not a partnership. DataArt did not sell the business, did not receive any funds for the transfer of assets, and will not receive them in the future. DataArt will not participate in the management of this company in any way. ITentika has no rights to use the DataArt brand and name," the company said in a comment.
DataArt also noted that the brand is no longer present in the Russian Federation.
"We have completely left the Russian Federation and strive to support and build up our team in Ukraine and globally," DataArt representatives say.
Recall that in March, the IT company DataArt condemned the military invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine and stopped business development activities in Russia. Hiring new people in this region has stopped.
In Russia, DataArt had at least three offices as of 2020: in St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and Voronezh. In total, the company employed about 1,000 people in Russia.
But the main production Forces of the IT company are concentrated in Ukraine-here it cooperates with more than 2,700 specialists. In addition, the company also has several offices in Poland.
