Sigma Software has opened representative offices in several European countries

Swedish-Ukrainian IT company Sigma Software has opened its own new representative offices in Krakow and Poznan. In addition, the company expanded its existing presence in Warsaw, and also rented seats for the team in co-working spaces in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Portugal and Germany.

Most importantly, in the summer, Sigma Software opened new locations for specialists in Europe, as well as expanded existing ones, the company told DOU.On July 5, Sigma Software opened a co-working office in Burgas, Bulgaria. Many specialists moved there, so the company conducted a survey to determine how many people would like to work from the office. Currently, six seats have been rented for the team. In addition, Sigma Software plans to grow in this country, so in the future it is considering opening a full-fledged corporate-style office in Burgas.In June, Sigma Software opened a representative office in Prague. This decision was made due to the fact that this city is one of the most developed IT hubs in Central and Eastern Europe with a favorable business environment. The company has signed an agreement with a network of co-working spaces, which has 9 locations in Prague. Now there are eight specialists working there, but if necessary, you can accommodate more people.In June, Sigma Software opened an office in Poznan. It is located in the Old Town. Now there are more than ten specialists working there and there is an opportunity for expansion. The company has started cooperation with local universities and aims to launch internship programs in areas that may be of interest to students of technical faculties.On May 30, the company opened an office in Krakow. It is designed for 10 places with the possibility of expansion, because Sigma Software is looking for specialists in Poland. The company explains: Krakow is the second largest IT hub in Poland, which has a technical reserve of about 50 thousand specialists and a developed IT community. Jagiellonian University and AGH Research University in Krakow provide a constant influx of graduates from technical faculties.Since the beginning of spring, Sigma Software has also had representative offices in Portugal: Cascais and Lisbon. In Cascais, the company rents several rooms in a local coworking space, which, by the way, is pet-friendly, Sigma Software told DOU. A representative office was opened in Lisbon together with several partners of Sigma Software — Ukrainian companies, whose specialists also had to relocate.Since the beginning of summer, the company has had agreements with a network of co — working spaces in different cities of Germany-specialists can work from there. Sigma Software has opened new premises and expanded existing ones in Warsaw (the office has been operating there since 2014). Currently, about 100 people can work in this location.

"Even before the outbreak of hostilities, Sigma Software aimed to expand its presence in Europe and other parts of the world, which was part of the company's development strategy. Since February 24, 2022, this has become even more relevant, because many of our specialists were forced to leave their homes and move to European countries. The company decided to open offices or representative offices in all cities where more than ten of our specialists were relocated, provided that they have a desire to work from the office," Sigma Software told DOU.

Currently, the company has 55 vacancies for specialists in Europe with the ability to work remotely. We are talking about Senior Data Analyst, Senior Node.js Developer, Middle Project Manager, etc.

Sigma Software plans to continue opening representative offices in Europe, as well as expand its network of offices in Latin America. Also, new office spaces are being opened in Ukraine: in Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mukachevo. DOU talked about them here.
