GlobalLogic opens new development center in Gdansk: 35 vacancies are currently relevant
GlobalLogic IT company has opened a new development center in Gdansk. This is the company's seventh location in Poland.
Most importantly, GlobalLogic has opened its seventh office in Poland — this time in Gdansk. The new development center will create solutions in the automotive industry, healthcare, financial technology, communications or Embedded Technologies.Gdansk plans to attract more than 120 engineers to cooperate.GlobalLogic currently has 35 Open offers in this city, a significant part of which is remote, the company told DOU. 25 of these vacancies are offers for engineers (Senior Embedded Java/MicroEJ Developer, C/C++ Software Developer, Full Stack Developer, Senior DevOps Engineer, etc.), 7 are offers for QA, two offers for recruitment specialists and one for Sales Support Specialist.GlobalLogic says that since June they have been implementing the "everything for engineers" strategy, when candidates receive all the necessary information from the company, offer details, feedback, and so on as quickly as possible during recruitment and onboarding.GlobalLogic promises to open a new office in Katowice soon. And by the end of the year, representative offices will appear in three more new countries. However, while the final legal approvals are ongoing, the company does not disclose specific locations.
The Gdansk office meets European standards and is designed with an eco-friendly approach to energy carriers in mind, says Anna Shcherbakova, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of GlobalLogic. The new and previous offices are equipped with motion sensors that monitor electricity consumption. Such steps make it possible to achieve a global goal — to reduce the harmful impact on the environment, the company emphasizes.
The new offices should strengthen technical expertise in the regions, facilitate the exchange of experience between specialists and provide new opportunities for both the local IT community and Ukrainians who have moved abroad, the company says.
In total, GlobalLogic has 35 locations in the world: in Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Croatia, Argentina, Canada, India, Israel, USA and Ukraine. All offices are accessible to Ukrainian specialists.
