IT companies in the UAE will make it easier to do business, and IT specialists will be able to get a visa

The UAE Ministry of Economy launched an initiative called NextGenFDI in July. Its goal is to attract digital companies from all over the world and make it easier for them to enter and scale in the UAE market.

The main thing in NextGenFDI UAE offers: fast business registration and obtaining a license; easy issuance of wholesale or "gold" visas (similar to a residence permit); accelerated banking services; incentives for renting commercial and residential premises for technology companies.There is no clear algorithm for choosing companies. NextGenFDI aims to attract about 300 companies, as well as qualified programmers, data scientists, and technical engineers over the next three years.

NextGenFDI was launched by the UAE Ministry of economy in partnership with ADGM, DIFC, Dubai Internet City, Dubai South, DMCC, Emirates NBD and WIO Bank.

The UAE is one of the fastest growing economies in the region. The IMF predicts that economic growth will accelerate to 4.2% in 2022, in contrast to the slowdown in Europe, Asia and the United States.​​ In April of this year, the UAE ranked first in the world as the best ecosystem for startups and entrepreneurs, according to Global Entrepreneurship.
