Intel has announced a platform that provides access to yet-to-be-released technologies

Intel has announced Intel Developer Cloud, a platform designed to make it easier for commercial customers to get early access to yet-to-be-released technologies. This was announced during the Intel Innovation 2022 event.

During beta testing, approved developers and partners will have access to Intel's latest computing and acceleration platforms for testing and evaluation, but subject to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). This includes the Sapphire Rapids Xeon processors, which are still a few months away from mass production.

"Instead of a cost — optimized commodity infrastructure, Intel Developer Cloud offers full-fledged deployment environments, pre-configured components that developers need to optimize performance and scale for extended workloads," the corporation said in a statement.

Intel claims that one of the biggest advantages of such a cloud service is that it solves the complex problem of software and hardware dependency.

By using Intel Developer Cloud for early access to new Intel hardware and software for testing and Development, customers will be able to develop their Intel-based offerings even before the products are officially announced to the public.

Subsequently, users will be able to perform tasks such as application performance testing, optimization, and troubleshooting on a wide range of Intel-based hardware and software, according to the corporation.
