AWS together with the Ministry of Digital Development launched a training program for Ukrainians in cloud technologies

In Warsaw on October 12, Amazon Web Services together with the Ministry of Digital Development and the Diya project.Digital education has launched the IT Skills 4U educational program for teaching cloud technologies. The project will last until the summer of 2023.

The main goal of the program is to help Ukrainians get the necessary skills to work with AWS cloud and find a job in an area that is in dire need of certified specialists.Ukrainians will be able to complete the necessary training and pass the exam for obtaining a certificate for free.The project is designed for 2 audiences of students: experienced IT specialists and beginners who have no experience in it or have minimal IT experience. Students will receive:

AWS cloud training (including training with instructors).Vouchers for the relevant AWS certification exam.Language courses (English and Polish).Webinars on career in IT.advice for preparing for the exam, as well as career development mentoring from AWS specialists.
"Ukrainians in the world are already known as a society with highly qualified specialists, unicorn startups and progressive technological ideas. We see great potential in the development of the Ukrainian IT sector and are doing everything possible to increase the number of IT specialists. AWS'S IT Skills 4U project will help attract more newcomers to the IT sector, and more experienced ones will help them move up in their careers. Ukrainians will be able to learn how to work with cloud technologies, which are now highly valued in the market," said Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of digital transformation of Ukraine.

You can register on the portal. After completing a short survey on IT experience, English language proficiency, and time to study, each student will receive one of the 10 curricula that best suits them.

The project will also provide career support — access to an updated database of vacancies on the portal, which will contain offers from global IT companies.

More than 30 AWS clients and partners have committed themselves to offering Ukrainian students permanent jobs, internships, apprenticeships and trainings in cloud computing positions, including companies such as ABN AMRO Clearing Bank N.V., Altkom Software & amp; Consulting, Digital Virgo, DXC Technology, EPAM Systems, Hapag-Lloyd AG, Ibexlabs, Itechart Group, Kyndryl and others.
